Tried out the brush-customization lately. I never drawed with anything else than the standard round brush. What I learned until now: Every good digital-art artist is fuckin cheating! Custom Brushes are fucking amazing! Now I know how to give my pictures a more "real" feeling. Just have to overcome my short patience when it comes to settings and drawing with system, rather than starting to paint like a lunatic. Hope I can find the time to make a new picture soon :)

Couldn't believe it when the devs of #2238 featured my fan art on their latest blogpost on moddb http://www.moddb.com/games/fonline-2238 I feel really happy about it :) tho i feel kinda embarassed because there's so much better fan art than my stuff. Yup, not much to tell art-wise. I got a few ideas in mind. Also my beloved fern-from-eden gifted me an awesome faber-castell graphite set for offline art. Might try that out on weekends soon. Job takes much from me, we have server-migrations to do - or should I say "I" have to do them? Yup. Me, myself and I. Sometimes I just wish to have infinite time for my hobby. But I know I wouldn't draw

Like the title says "Practice makes perfect", I decided to do daily sketches to improve my drawing skills. My boss gifted me a shitton of sketchbooks and pencils for christmas (amazing how women can remember "i draw from time to time" when you mention it just once). So all materials are there. Now I just need to keep myself motivated. Also my buddy fern-von-eden and me started this mod for "The Battle for Wesnoth". Creative work everywhere! .....and no vacation from the programming job.....
